Mavera, Sweden’s leading solution provider of independent medical claims assessments, has been a disruptive force in the insurance industry since its start ten years ago. Now, they are in the starting pits to once again jolt the sector. A new CEO was recruited last November, with the expectation to develop the company further and to expand into international markets. Now, Mavera has recruited to yet another two key positions: Marko Ahokas is the company’s new Vice President Sales and Viktor Norlander its new Marketing Manager. 

Marko Ahokas has a solid background in Business Development and Sales, as well as extensive international experience. At Mavera, he assumes the role of Vice President Sales. Before joining Mavera, Marko held the position of Senior Sales Account Manager at F-Secure Corporation. Previously, he worked as Regional Director for the EMEA and as Country Manager Great Britain at StrongPoint, an international shop tech company. Among his previous employers are CashGuard, Insight and IBM. 

 

I look forward to taking on new challenges at what I consider to be a rather unique company. I join at a very exciting period in time for the company, where they have laid out rather ambitious plans for expansion internationally. In an industry that will face significant changes within the next couple of years, Mavera will undoubtedly take the lead in the development. Viktor Norlander has a background in Marketing and Communications. Before joining Mavera, Viktor held the position as Channel Marketing Manager at the international shoptech company StrongPoint. Previously, he worked in Marketing with Samsung Electronics and CashGuard.
